Privacy notice
This notice describes the data handled by the current RedTabl service. It is a product privacy summary, not legal advice.
Account and profile data
When you create an account, RedTabl stores your authentication identity and the profile information you choose to provide. Depending on how you use the service, this can include your display name, career profile, skills, experience, education, work preferences, candidate visibility settings, home address for commute calculations, work-style reflection, notification preferences, and account role.
Candidate visibility is controlled by account settings. Private profile fields are not intended to be publicly exposed. Employers receive candidate information through authorised hiring workflows such as applications and scouting access rather than unrestricted profile access.
Jobs and hiring activity
RedTabl stores saved or hidden job state, applications you submit, application status history, uploaded career documents, and private tracker information you add for your own use, such as notes, ratings, tags, recruiter details, interview dates, and follow-up dates. Employers can update hiring stages for applications they are authorised to manage; your private tracker metadata is candidate-owned.
Commute calculations
Commute estimates are available only to signed-in users who choose to save a home address. Newly entered addresses and workplace locations may be sent through RedTabl to Google Maps services for geocoding and route calculations. RedTabl can reuse recent route results from its server-side cache, including nearby home locations within the configured matching radius, to reduce unnecessary external API calls. Commute information is shown only when the job is within the job-search country selected in your account.
Community and Academy
Community posts, comments, reports, and moderation state are stored on RedTabl servers. Academy creator courses, lessons, media references, enrolments, progress, notes, bookmarks, and quiz progress are also server-backed. Academy courses are currently free-only; RedTabl does not currently operate a production paid-course checkout.
Files and service providers
Uploaded career documents and Academy media use private object storage. Career-document uploads are subject to malware-scanning controls before they can be used in protected application workflows. When you explicitly request CV-to-profile suggestions, RedTabl sends that CV to OpenAI for one-time processing, deletes the processing file after the result, and keeps only the private, editable suggestions in your account for up to 30 days. RedTabl also uses infrastructure and service providers for authentication/database hosting, transactional email, mapping, error monitoring, file scanning, and web hosting where configured. Those providers process data needed to deliver their specific service.
Your account controls
Signed-in users can request an account data export from Account Settings. The export includes the main account, profile, job, application, Community, Academy, consent, support, and privacy-request records associated with the account.
You can also request account deletion. Deletion requests enter the RedTabl privacy operations queue for verification and processing. When completed, the authentication account and user-owned records are removed according to database deletion rules, known user-owned storage objects are removed, and non-identifying operational or audit references may be retained where needed for security, integrity, dispute handling, or legal obligations.
Retention, security, and contact
RedTabl applies access controls, row-level database policies, private storage, role-based administration, audit events, and configured retention tasks. Different records can have different retention needs, particularly where security, moderation, dispute, or legal obligations apply.
